The release date for Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 has been reportedly moved to the beginning of September.

Samsung is expected to make an announcement about its successor to Galaxy Note 3 at special Unpacked event on 3 September. The unveiling is said to followed by a market release, scheduled towards the end of the same month, on 25 September, going by the same strategy used for the Galaxy Note 3.

ETNews now claims the Galaxy Note 4 will be rolled out to the market in the beginning of September. Besides, the mass production of five million Galaxy Note 4 units will commence next month.

Samsung's this move is said to be due to the downbeat sales of Samsung Galaxy S5, which was unveiled at the 2014 Mobile World Congress event and went on sale in 125 countries across the world on 11 April. Given the early September release, the Galaxy Note 4 will be in the market before Apple's latest iPhone iteration could be released.

Apple is expected to bring two variants of iPhone 6: one with 4.7in screen and the other one sporting 5.5in screen. Foxconn has reportedly begun the mass production of 4.7in iPhone 6, whereas the 5.5in model will enter mass production in the second week of August.

Coming back to the hardware arrangements of Galaxy Note 4, the new Note is likely to come with quad HD flexible display with resolution measuring at 2560 x 1440 pixels, metal build and a 16 megapixel rear-snapper with OIS technology.
