Wannabe reality star Josie Cunningham has defended her decision to sell front row tickets to her childbirth, insisting it will not be seedy.

The 23-year-old, who is expecting her second child, sold four tickets for £10,000 each to 'fans' earlier this week. Three journalists and super-fan Paul Mills-Ash also purchased the tickets.

The student, who first made headlines in 2013 when she demanded a £4,800 boob job on the NHS, came up with the bizarre money-making scheme after a DVD deal fell through.

"I was gutted when the DVD deal was pulled - I was set to make thousands and wanted to share the precious experience. I realised the next best thing would be to sell tickets of me giving birth at home," she told Closer magazine.

During her appearance on This Morning, Cunninham insisted that there was nothing wrong with the birth show and vowed to use some of the profits to pay the NHS back.

"It's not much different to one born every minute. They'll not be sat down there with a camera," she told Eamonn Holmes.

"I'm carving out a stable career for my kids, that's far from a scrounger."

"I'm not looking forward to it to having four strangers there.

"But it won't be seedy or sexualised. My mum will be there."

Cunningham originally planned to abort her unborn child so she could appear on Channel 5's Big Brother.

"I'm finally on the verge of becoming famous and I'm not going to ruin it now," she previously said.

"An abortion will further my career. This time next year I won't have a baby. Instead, I'll be famous, driving a bright pink Range Rover and buying a big house. Nothing will get in my way."

She is said to have had a change of heart after receiving death threats from shocked strangers.
