Nickelodeon star Ariana Grande has finally addressed reports of her blossoming romance with Big Sean.

Rumours that the two are dating have been circulating since they collaborated for the single Best Mistake.

The Problems singer and the 26-year-old rapper were pictured holding hands backstage at the 27th annual MTV Video Music Awards, seemingly confirming their relationship.

Grande was questioned about her alleged boyfriend on the Ryan Seacrest Radio Show.

"I mean, I guess, curiosity man, it'll kill you," she said. "I don't know what to say, Ryan. Why are you doing this to me?"

Then she added: "I'll tell you when we're not on the air. I trust you. I've known you a long time. I don't know about these millions of people listening in right now."

Grande previously dated Australian star Jai Brooks and The Wanted's band member Nathan Sykes.

Meanwhile, Big Sean was dating Naya Rivera and the two announced that they were engaged in October - just six months after going public with their romance. However, the two separated in April.

Following the split, 27-year-old Rivera, who is best known for playing Santana Lopez in musical comedy-drama television series Glee, got married to Parks And Recreation actor Ryan Dorsey in July in an intimate ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Grande had previously opened up about her friendship with Big Sean.

"I love working with him, obviously. We've done many songs together... we even have a few that y'all haven't heard yet, so yeah, I love making music with him. He's very talented," she told Extra's Mario Lopez.
